Chester Canoe Club on the Web

The main focus of the sprint scene is Nottingham and the National Regattas held there from April to September each year.

The dates for 2009 are 4 & 5 April, 9 & 10 May, 6 & 7 June, 4 & 5 July, 5 & 6 Sept.

Sprint is currently enjoying resurgence within the Club, and members are increasingly attending the Nottingham Regattas.

In 2008 Chester finished 13^th at the Inter-Club Flatwater Sprint Racing Regatta; a good effort for just 12 paddlers. See here for results & here for pictures.
