Saturday 15^th November – Trip to the Burrs

There will be no Saturday morning session at the Club as we aim to take some juniors to try out their white water skills at the Burrs near Manchester.  The Burrs is a 500m section of white water suitable for those who have had experience on the weir or have been paddling for some time.  We will be taking 3 plastic boats and 2 wavehoppers and small groups of juniors will paddle down with an experienced adult.

The Burrs is located near Bury – for a map go to www.wildwater.org.uk, look under Races, Start/Finish maps and it is the River Irwell.
